The Mission of the proposed Institute is to:
- To deliver high quality higher education with equity and inclusion, to all young people who aspire to it.
- Make distinctive contribution to higher education in diverse disciplines and high-end technologies to advance the frontiers of knowledge.
- Offer innovative and semantically designed courses that are globally relevant to promote the development of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and also serving India’s strategic needs.
- Promote student’s intellectual growth and shape their personalities by providing high quality education and an environment to nurture their talents.
- Promote the level of quality, quantity, and impact of research to create and disseminate new knowledge relevant to the local, national, and international communities.
- To hone the expertise of curriculum development, training, research, and consultancy, collaborate with reputed universities and national agencies across the globe.
- To empower the human resources through training and development endeavours.
- To enrich institutions and organizations through consultancy and R&D activities.
- Bring existing/upcoming educational institutions of Andaman & Nicobar as constituent institutions/part of the proposed Institute, as envisioned in NEP 2020.
